Here’s the bottom line: it takes money—and lots of it—to win an election. A candidate for a county seat can need as much as $25,000 to run a strong campaign. For district seats in the General Assembly, a run for the House needs roughly $200,000; a Senate candidate needs around $1 million.
That means Dare Democrats need your donations to win. You can choose to—
- Make a one-time or recurring donation of any amount
- Donate to your favorite candidates directly (via their websites).
Monthly pledges are especially welcomed. They allow both candidates and the Party to form long-term budgets and plans for sustaining forceful campaigns.
