Democratic Women of Dare works to encourage all Democratic women to participate in the work of their Party as a public service in the belief that the political party system strengthens the nation’s great representative form of government. Join us today!
Annual dues are $30.00 and the year runs Jan – Dec.
Please mail the form and a check payable to Democratic Women of Dare to DWOD Treasurer, P.O. Box 372, Manteo, NC 27954. You may also bring the form and cash or check to the next DWOD meeting.. We do not process credit card payments.
- Associate membership is available to women who vote outside of NC,
- men and (not yet eligible to vote)
- minors .
As soon as your membership form is processed, you will begin to receive information about meetings, events, programs, and other activities. We look forward to meeting you!

DWOD Goals

Support the principles of the Democratic Party and to work for the election of Democratic candidates.
Address issues, especially those affecting women, and to promote and support legislation that will bring economic equality to women.
Encourage qualified Democratic Women to seek public office at the local, state and national levels.
Promote friendship and cooperation among Democratic Women of Dare County and all counties in North Carolina.
